We went to my mom's Annual Easter Picnic and the kids found lots of eggs.
And Prizes!
On Sunday morning, Marcus and I continued the tradition both of our mother's had, of hiding piles of jelly beans.
Another big hit were the Squinkies!
All ready for church...
Later that day we made our traditional Resurrection Rolls. We talked about Jesus being layed in the tomb, and symbolized that by wrapping roll dough around a marshmallow. When they were done cooking we cut the roll open to find it hollow and empty. A couple of days later Maizie was eating some marshmallows and said to me smiling "I'm eating Jesus." Nice.
