My parents turned 60 this year...
(it was easy for me to remember because I turned 30 and my aunt turned 50)
Their birthdays are a day apart. We had a big surprise shin-dig and had some family in from out of town, so the kids were in heaven...
My kids adore their older cousins because they take such good care of them...

We did a presentation of skits from thier lives (mostly embarassing ones) and when my dad walked out and saw the sign he said, "oh no." That's right, oh no.

It was amazing how clean she stayed considering how she was attacking that thing...

My SIL spent many an hour putting together a slide presentation of their lives and we all loved it. Especially the finale of my little brother and his family singing Happy Birthday (they are stationed in Germany and weren't able to make it) That brought on the water works from all of us.
