We went to a get-together that included a group of people who all were of a different culture, race and/or religion. It was amazing to me that we all had one common friend and that was enough for us all to accept and love each other. I enjoyed sitting and watching people talk and listen to each other because we don't always find that kind of genuine acceptance even among people who are of our same culture, race and religion. It really made me think. I wish I had gotten a group shot so you could have seen the great group of people we had together. We had tons of fun with these people who we hardly knew because it was obvious they accepted us and we went to the party with open arms and hearts knowing there would be differences there. Think about it. Do we accept and love those around us who are different? And then, do we accept and love those around us who have similar beliefs as we do? Or do we just stay in our little bubbles and think our lives are perfect and don't bother with others? Thanks Wendy for the fun party, we can't wait to do it again!!
Tate has never had watermelon off the rind and he was going to town!! We also had some great food that you don't eat everyday!!

It is so true. I've started making more efforts to get to know people out of the church and there are some really amazing people out there.
That is the beauty of leaving Utah, these experience happen all the time and it is so wonderful!

And YAY for getting out of out comfort zones!! We've been forced out of it since living here... and like you said it's great!
