ok marci seriously those look sooo good and they are making my mouth water just looking at this picture...yummy!! and i love the pics of little tate and how stinking adorable he is! Man i wish i lived closer so we could get our boys together..they would have a blast...and seriously if you ever want to get a amazing getaway...come up to portland!!
hey, i'm sorry, but i was just linked to this blog because i was doing a search of these mini candy apples. i have a question though. how did you get the carmel to stick to the apple and not slide off? will you please add your response to this post so that i can find out what i'm doing wrong. thanks so much.
Hello anonymous, well that was somewhat of a problem. The best thing is to just dry them of really good, actually letting the paper towel soak up the juices and then go for it, but even then not the greatest. I used white chocolate on most of them which didn't really have a problem. But the recipe actually calls for peanut butter or butterscotch (in chips) and I think either of those would stay on even better! Good luck!
